Learning Goal: I’m working on a statistics multi-part question and need guidance to help me learn.Answer all of the questions as well as fill out the excel sheet. There are 6 questions (I believe) that need to be answered on a separate word document. Attached are all of the PDFs you will need to answer everything completely (way attention to the instruction on them.**There are a number of options for calculating 95% confidence intervals for proportions, but I recommend using Wilson-score intervals, or Clopper-Pearson intervals (although the latter might be a little too conservative). I included propCl.xls below because it will do this calc for you; for a proportion p = x/n, you can input the values of x and n, and both the Clopper-Pearson and Wilson score intervals will be calculated for you. Each interval is calculated as both the actual proportion, and as the width, which is the number you would add (UCI) or subtract (LCI) from your proportion, p, to get the actual value. The latter is of great use when presenting the 95% confidence intervals as error bars on a bar graph.
Requirements: Complete the excel sheet, graphs if asked for them, and answer all of the questions that are in bold on a separate word document
